Description

An established manufacturing company based in central Birmingham requires a plastic extrusion setter operator / supervisor.

Duties:

  • Supervise and monitor all day-to-day extrusion.
  • Co-ordinate and control the daily operation of the team, including appraisals and development with identification of training requirements.
  • Book daily production on company ERP system / monitor raw material stock levels.
  • Setting and operating plastic extrusion machinery.
  • General machine operating.

Requirements:

  • Supervisory / team leader experience.
  • Experience of setting plastic extrusion machinery.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • General factory machine operation experience.

Hours:

  • 7.15am to 5pm Monday to Thursday.
  • Occasional Friday's as business demands.

This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
